Humes is the largest pipeline systems supplier in New Zealand and a very successful business unit within the wider Fletcher Building Group. We externally source and distribute a range of products of various materials, and also manufacture a range of concrete pipe and precast structures for the infrastructure, drain layer and rural markets. Humes operate seven manufacturing operations and 23 sales centres throughout New Zealand.

 
About the role
This is a hands-on branch management role where in any one day you could expect to be coordinating activity across the team, monitoring inventory levels, developing and maintaining key relationships, or reviewing financials to ensure we maximise sales opportunities while maintaining market share.

The team has a proud record when it comes to staff engagement, results and workplace health and safety, which this role will be responsible for building on.

About you
You will have experience leading a team in the trade or industrial environment as well as proven business development skills and a track record of leading high performing teams.
