About the role
Reporting to the Auckland Engineering Manager, you will be part of a team that drives plant optimisation and improvement. Delivering on planned Capex Projects as well as providing support to the Production team during day-to-day operations.
Planned works will see you promoting the technical advantages of control and feedback systems to the team where you will be an integral part of the planning and pricing of projects, through to delivery and commissioning of new equipment. Our Engineers are required to provide technical support to the team in a fault-finding capacity when downtime occurs.  You’ll use your expertise of the electrical and control systems, to support Production staff to help ensure that production targets are met.

About you
You'll possess prior industrial or manufacturing experience.  You will be driven to add value to the team, where you’ll be encouraged to identify, develop and deliver technical solutions that can have positive impacts on the plant and the people who work within it. You'll have the ability to communicate at all levels, you’ll be a self-starter, confident and accustom to discussing control system solutions.  Your ability to listen, understand plant and operator needs, mean that you’ll be able to ensure delivery of systems that are as per requirement and fit for purpose.
