Firth is a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete, masonry products and premix to the construction industry either directly or through building product distributors. It has over 2,500 active customer accounts and its products are used across all building sectors and environments. Firth has a team of approximately 650 people, working in 85 operational sites throughout New Zealand. It's divided into three main product groups, Certified, Masonry and Dricon.
About the role
Reporting to the Plant Manager this role is responsible for processing concrete orders in to our computer based order system. Based in Taranaki, this is a varied role working closely with our external and internal customers to ensure we fulfil orders and coordinate delivery to the highest of standards. A strong ability to plan and schedule the following days’ work flow, and ensuring that truck and labour utilisation is managed appropriately and efficiently. You will also be processing payments, answering queries and solving issues as they arrive. No two days will be the same!
You will need to be highly organised and not be afraid to have the hard conversations. You will be motivated by having satisfied customers. You will be able to work within a small team and you will need to have strong communication, be proactive and computer literacy skills in order to work with our internal and external stakeholders.
