The Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer in a 12-month, fixed-term project-based role, based in Erskine Park.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our existing applications and subsystems to ensure smooth business operations and continued success. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll analyse ongoing business needs, pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, and execute solutions to elevate the functionality, speed, and dependability of our systems. This position demands proficiency in both frontend and backend development, particularly with a focus on 3D applications, alongside robust problem-solving abilities and a proactive stance in tackling technical hurdles.

Please note, due to company closure over the holiday break, we will begin to review applications at the commencement of the new year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in collaborative teamwork to ensure the timely delivery of critical development projects within scope, aligned with strategic plans and priorities.Drive the development and optimization of the code base to enhance scalability, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Spearhead the development and evaluation of in-house software and product initiatives from inception through deployment and refinement.
  • Manage stakeholders as needed to facilitate project coordination and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field and preferably 5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
  • Expertise in 3D Software Development: Proven proficiency in developing 3D applications using React.js and various common 3D libraries, with a strong emphasis on enhancing user interfaces and experiences.
  • Proficiency in BIM/CAD Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) tools, demonstrating a keen understanding of BIM/CAD workflows and integration needs.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure Deployment: Skilled in implementing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Docker containerization, and other DevOps practices.
  • Versatility in Programming Languages: Extensive experience in Dot Net, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.js, complemented by expertise in specific UI libraries to deliver robust and intuitive user interfaces.
