PlaceMakers Wanganui has an opportunity for someone who can deliver exceptional customer service both in our store as well as out on the road. In this role, you will be driving a HIAB truck to deliver orders to our customers in a timely and professional manner. You will also be part of our dedicated front-line team assisting our customers when they come to our store. Work hours will be Mondays to Fridays, 40 hours per week with rostered Saturdays. 

Skills and experience we are looking for: 
You are a customer-focused driver who keeps safety at the forefront. You enjoy a varied hands-on environment where the team works together to get the job done. The ideal candidate will also hold: 
  • A full Class 4 driver's licence
  • HIAB certification ideal
  • Good attitude towards H&S and appropriate driving behaviour
  • Physically fit to manage manual lifting
  • Previous customer service experience and good communication skills
  • While previous building or warehousing experience would be an advantage, what matters more is your positive attitude and willingness to learn
