Production Supervisor
Dimond Roofing | Auckland
We're looking for an experienced operational leader to join Dimond Roofing and drive performance across our production and loading operations. While this role has responsibility for a small production team, our ideal candidate comes from a transport, logistics, or 3PL environment and has a proven track record of improving loading, dispatch, and operational processes.
About the Role
You will lead a small team across production and loading functions, ensuring orders are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend most of your time on the floor coaching teams, driving accountability, and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance.
Please note this is for an afternoon shift - 2:30pm-11pm Monday - Friday 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading day-to-day production, loading, and dispatch operations.
  • Driving improvements in transport, loading, and customer delivery processes.
  • Developing and coaching a high-performing frontline team.
  • Championing health and safety, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Working closely with sales, customer service, supply chain, and site leadership to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
What We're Looking For
  • Leadership experience within a transport, logistics, freight, warehousing, or 3PL environment.
  • Strong knowledge of loading, dispatch, transport coordination, and operational planning.
  • A change-oriented mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes and drive operational improvements.
  • Proven experience leading frontline teams and building a culture of accountability and performance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
