Description

As a Part Time Showroom Team Member working every Saturday at PlaceMakers New Lynn you’ll be the first point of contact and the trusted expert that our valued building trade customers rely on. From the moment they walk through the door, you’ll deliver tailored product advice, share your knowledge, and create a customer experience that keeps them coming back.

Engage with customers face to face recommending suitable products to suit their needs and preference
Process sales orders and returns at the trade counter
Merchandising and maintaining stock levels
Assist with in-store promotions and display setup
Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping

Permanent part-time role based at PlaceMakers New Lynn, working Saturdays from 8:00AM to 4:00PM

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a natural communicator and relationship builder who puts customers at the heart of everything you do and making every interaction a positive one. You’ll be friendly, reliable, enjoy working with others, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Previous experience in similar customer facing or trade retail sales role
Bring a strong work ethic and approachable down-to-earth attitude
Committed to delivering great service to everyone you meet
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident using technology and navigating multiple system
Knowledge of building products is preferred but not essential
