The purpose of this role is to support effective claims and injury management, by implementing and using a range of tools and processes to administer workers compensation and early intervention programmes across New Zealand.
The role will see you guide our businesses with timely advice on injury management/early intervention and be the primary relationships manager with our workers compensation regulators, external claims management teams and health and wellbeing service providers (e.g. ACC, WorkAon, OKHealth).
As EHS & ACC Programmes Coordinator you will also support the successful roll-out of internal EHS programmes, designed to drive a proactive and interdependent safety culture across the organisation.
You are an allied health or safety professional with exceptional customer focus, a growth mindset and an understanding of how to optimise business outcomes.
To be successful in the role, you will:
• Be skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships with regulators and external service providers
• Have in-depth knowledge and practical experience in ACC/injury management
• Have 2-5 years injury management experience, or similar relevant experience
• Have proven ability to manage your workload in order to meet programme deadlines
• Proven capability to engage internal stakeholders at all levels to achieve successful programme outcomes
• Be tertiary qualified in an allied health discipline (e.g. physiotherapy, occupational therapy) or EHS and/or equivalent experience (desirable)
This position is strongly aligned to those who have a keen interest in developing their career in the injury management profession. It is advantageous if you have experience coordinating ACC audits and/or are familiar with the Accredited Employers Programme.
We believe all injuries are preventable. You will be joining a driven and engaging team. If you are safety focused and thrive on challenge and opportunity, then this is the role for you. In return, you will enjoy the on-going benefits and career opportunities of working for one of NZ’s largest employers.
