Description:

We have an opportunity for a Laboratory Administrator to join our Winstone Aggregates team based in Hamilton on a fixed term basis. This is for maternity leave cover until the end of February 2020. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and make your mark on the Waikato Expressway development.  

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day data capturing, data checking, administration and filing duties.  You will also be required to update project databases and you may be occasionally called upon to assist with operational duties such as laboratory testing.  Hours will be 7am – 5pm (preferable but negotiable) Monday to Friday with the odd Saturday. 

The Concrete Division comprises Fletcher Building’s aggregate, cement and concrete businesses, employing over 1300 people across three business units. Winstone Aggregates is 150 years old and the largest supplier of sand and aggregate in New Zealand. We will offer you a steady and secure work environment. 

The key to your success in this role will be the ability to hit the ground running and being able to learn tasks and procedures with ease.  Attention to detail is key, being highly organised, database management including data entry and reporting would give you an advantage in this role. Experience with the Microsoft package such as Word and Excel are essential.
