The Opportunity 
We currently have a vacancy for a Hot End Manager to be based at our Dandenong manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Site Manager, the purpose of this role is to manage and support the Batch/Binder and Hot End Operations at the Dandenong facility.
The Batch/Binder and Hot End process requires considerable technical input to ensure that we make consistent product, it also requires a strong leader to implement change, develop standard operating procedures and parameters.
This role will work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager, Hot End Process Engineer and Maintenance Planner to ensure robust systems and processes are developed and implemented to ensure reliable and consistent operation.

Your skills and experience:
We are looking for – 
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory/ management role
  • Process or Mechanical Engineering degree desirable, or an experienced tradesperson with process experience
  • Experience in the glass industry would be advantageous.
  • Experience in managing process improvement initiatives and small Capex projects
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • A strong team ethic
  • Confident in the use of MS Project , Word, Excel, & Outlook
