The Role:
Reporting to the Trade Sales Manager at our Albany branch, this role offers a great blend of sales and account management. Most of your time will be spent out on the road ensuring regularity of contact primarily with a key group home builder so you can be ahead of the game and provide valuable solutions. There is also plenty of opportunity to build your network and identify new business, establish relationships and manage the sales process from start to finish.  You will have a small team that works under you, providing support and you will have the autonomy to use your initiative and challenge the status quo while ensuring exceptional service delivery.  This role will also provide you with exposure within our National Office, which you can leverage to build your career.

About You:
You will play a lead role in capturing sales opportunities across your key account and broader customer portfolio therefore your passion for building rapport and long-lasting customer relationships is an absolute must! You’re a driven and experienced sales professional offering a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a similar role.  In addition to this, you will also need to the demonstrate the following -

  • Highly self-motivated and outcome driven
  • Calm under pressure and focused on the bigger picture
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in a professional manner
  • Diligent and commercially astute 
  • Exceptional time management/organisational skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of building products and the building process
