Our Despatch area is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are accurate and sent out on time. At PlaceMakers Riccarton, we have a full time role available for someone who is committed to exceeding our customer’s service expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a hardworking and committed team ensuring prompt and efficient order processing and delivery.
This position is full time Monday – Friday from 9am-6pm. This is a busy department that prides itself on exceeding our customer’s service expectations. Key responsibilities are:
- Picking and packing orders accurately ensuring on time delivery
- Safe forklift operation
- General warehousing duties
We are looking for someone who:
- Ensures a safe working environment is maintained for themselves, their team and our customers
- Has strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Is team and customer focused
- Has a can do attitude
- You will ideally have experience in warehousing and despatching
- You will need to be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved.
- A clean class 1 New Zealand driver's licence and forklift license ideally
