About the Role

In this role as a Site Engineer, you’ll be working across pipeline renewal and repair projects. This role focuses on trenching and trenchless methodologies, supporting the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades. You’ll be out on site, working alongside crews to plan, coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality work.

  • Plan and coordinate trenching and pipeline renewal works
  • Support crews with both traditional open trench and trenchless methods
  • Monitor daily progress and adjust sequencing to keep work moving
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Check installation against drawings, specifications and tolerances
  • Support site safety, inspections, and environmental requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Engineering qualification or relevant civil construction background
  • Experience in pipeline renewals, utilities, or underground services
  • Practical knowledge of trenching methods and pipe installation techniques
  • Exposure to trenchless methods such as sliplining, relining, or similar
  • Strong planning and coordination skills in a live site environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly with crews, supervisors, and stakeholders
