Where Your Story Begins

Are you passionate about building relationships and uncovering new business opportunities? 

Laminex is seeking an Account Manager to focus on one of our key strategic pillars: Growth in Decorative Products. This newly created role is designed to drive strong gross margin growth across North Sydney Metro by developing new business strategies and collaborating with our specification team and existing Account Managers.

In this role, you will:
  • Build a new business pipeline aligned with Laminex’s growth strategy.
  • Drive profitable revenue and gross margin growth through smart margin management and targeted sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market analysis to develop strategies for new client relationships.
  • Monitor residential market trends and competitor activity.
  • Promote Laminex products through effective merchandising and brand presence.
  • Use SalesForce CRM to manage call cycles, forecasting, project tracking, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deepen technical knowledge and share insights.
  • Participate in trade shows and events to showcase the Laminex range.
  • Promote a safe and positive work environment.

What You Bring

Knowledge & Competencies
  • Deep understanding of the residential market and a passion for winning new business.
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM.
  • Background in solution-based selling and identifying reverse sales opportunities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build lasting client relationships.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a creative mindset.

Experience & Attributes
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • A team player who is driven, positive, and organised.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative to grow and develop continuously.
