About the Role

As an Account Manager in our Civil vertical in Brisbane, you will be responsible for growing and strengthening relationships, while actively uncovering new opportunities with existing customers. This role is measured by your ability to engage customers, build pipeline, and convert opportunity into continued growth. You will take a solution focused approach, understand customer needs and deliver value through proactive follow up, strong market insight, always being the trusted advisor. 

We are ideally looking for someone with experience in the civil, infrastructure, or plumbing industry who is confident using CRM systems to manage sales activity, pipelines, and follow ups. This role requires someone to be commercially driven, eager to grow a state portfolio, and comfortable travelling as required, including being away a couple of nights per month. This role suits a motivated, relationship led professional who enjoys hunting opportunities within existing accounts and is excited to build a long-term career in a supportive, inclusive team. 

More About You! 
  • Experience in sales, ideally from a technical industrial environment related to Civil and Infrastructure 
  • Excellent negotiation skills & attention to detail, not afraid of the tough conversations
  • Previous success in exceeding sales metrics and set budgets
  • Strong computer literacy, ie Salesforce & Microsoft 360
  • You are tenacious and driven to succeed, you have a “winning” mentality 
  • Previous skills in using data to make key sales decisions to increase your sales pipeline
  • Warm, energised & engaged personality
  • Full Drivers License
