Description

Stramit is a market‑leading provider of steel building products and part of the Fletcher Building Group. We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to look after our Perth and North West WA territory, working with a strong portfolio of established customers across domestic and commercial roofing.

This is a relationship‑focused sales role – ideal for someone who enjoys building long‑term partnerships and adding value to an existing customer base.

About the role
You’ll take ownership of a circa 100 active customers, including large domestic clients and medium to large roofing companies. With solid sales support behind you, your focus will be on service, growth, and strengthening key relationships.
Travel is required across the territory, but it’s well‑planned and considered.

You’ll be part of a close‑knit team of four, including dedicated sales support, and will report directly to the Regional General Manager.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an established portfolio of around 100 customers
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with roofing contractors and key accounts
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Work closely with sales support to deliver smooth customer experiences
  • Maintain a professional sales pipeline and forecasting discipline
  • Represent the Stramit brand confidently in market

What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B sales or account management role
  • Strong, proven sales skills with a relationship‑led mindset
  • Experience working with large domestic and medium to large commercial customers
  • Building products or construction industry experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Comfortable managing a sizeable customer base and prioritising activity
