The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager for Apartments and Joint Ventures, you will be responsible for:

  • Set up new Joint Ventures, manage reporting systems, and establish bank accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries and process transactions in Xero and JDE.
  • Handle supplier payment runs, capital contributions, and dividend distributions.
  • Complete month-end processes and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Lead financial reviews and produce monthly financial reports for JV partners.
  • Prepare journal entries and process transactions in JDE for Apartments.
  • Complete month-end processes, including Balance Sheet reconciliations and cashflow analysis.
  • Review and forecast monthly overheads and lead WIP review processes.
  • Complete monthly packs and assist with annual budgeting.
  • Prepare annual Financial Statements and tax returns.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and assist with other duties as required.


About You

The most important attribute we’re looking for is someone that is a team player, with a positive can-do attitude and is driven to deliver results. Our ideal candidate would be CA/ CPA qualified with 3 / 4 years’ experience. Experience within financial modelling and excel are essential and someone who is familiar with JDE, TM1 and HFM would be advantageous.

As someone with excellent technical accounting skills, you will take pride in delivering quality accurate financial reporting through to the Fletcher Building Group finance team, apartments and joint venture teams. Excellent communication skills are also essential as we aim to deliver a high standard of customer service both to our internal and external stakeholders.
