Description

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team based in Penrose on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a busy role where you'll help keep supplier payments flowing smoothly, resolve invoice queries, and support the day-to-day operation of a large accounts payable function. If you enjoy working with numbers, problem-solving, and finding ways to improve processes, you'll feel right at home.

Key responsibilities:
  • Process and manage supplier invoices, credit notes, and statements accurately and on time
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams
  • Monitor accounts payable queues and ensure outstanding items are followed up and cleared promptly
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and support payment run preparation
  • Respond to supplier and business queries, providing timely and professional service
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the way work is completed

What you'll bring to the role:
  • A qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least two years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with financial information
  • Confident using Excel and other business systems, with JDE experience an advantage
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative approach and clear communication skills when working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
