Description

Raylight Aluminium has been an industry leader in Canterbury for aluminium joinery since its beginning over 50 years ago. We are now looking for an experienced Commercial Aluminium Joinery Fabricator to join our team in a Factory Assembly role.

About the role:

The role is based in our Wigram factory working with a great team of experienced fabricators to produce high end aluminium joinery products for Residential, Architectural, Multi Unit and Commercial applications.

Daily you will be responsible for –

Cutting and Machining aluminium extrusions
Fabrication/Assembly of aluminium joinery
Fitting hardware
Fitting liners
Glazing

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working 6am-3:15pm Mon-Thurs & 6am-11:00 Fri

We are looking for:

An eye for detail
Tech savvy – we are paperless so using tablet/phone for communication and job sheets
Experience with Aluminium Fabrication – ideally in commercial applications
Presentable and organised
Physically fit – lifting is required at times
Reliable and hard working
