Where your story starts:
Due to continued growth, Laminex is seeking an Architectural Specifications Manager in Brisbane Metro (South East QLD). This is your opportunity to combine your strong sales acumen, design flair and industry knowledge to influence key decision-makers to secure specifications, and deliver solutions that create beautiful, functional spaces.  

You’ll work closely with architects, designers, and builders—identifying market demand, understanding trends, and driving sales execution. Backed by a trusted brand, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting Laminex products with major projects across the region. 

This role will focus on:
  • Growth of existing accounts to maximise our service offering to our customers.
  • Own the specification process from securing major project specifications through to successful sales execution.
  • Building trust and strong industry relationships through networking and industry events by positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver professional CPD and portfolio presentations that showcase Laminex’s capabilities, using your natural sales flair to influence architects and designers showcasing your adaptability, persistence and tenacity to achieve results.
  • Effective communication & activity around New Product Development (NPD) launches and any relevant insights or trends.

You will ideally have:
  • Bring enthusiasm, confidence, and exceptional communication and presentation skills to prioritize customer needs and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Experience with consultative and conceptual selling to architects, designers and building professionals
  • A team player with a collaborative attitude that builds trusted relationships.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Strong autonomy and organizational skills to manage projects and achieve specification and KPI targets.
  • Proven sales experience with a strong network of architectural/specification professionals is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in interior design, drafting or building industry expertise is advantageous.
