Description

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreperson to join the Surfacing Division in Tauranga. 

You will be a strong all-rounder with the ability to jump on the machines and plant, as well as motivate and lead your crew on-site to the desired high standard of quality workmanship and finish.

What you'll bring to this role: 
  • 3 + years’ experience in the roading industry, operating plant including asphalt pavers and rollers
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in road construction and mainteance
  • Class 2 licence & WTR endorsement is a must
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams is desired
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants and staff
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practice, QA and H&S procedures and requirements
  • Self-motivation, a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
  • Be a reliable, honest and flexible team-player 

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40-50 hours per week. Competitive hourly rate on offer between $36-$40ph.
