Description

The Higgins Team in Taupō are currently looking for a Plant Operator to join the team at the asphalt plant. You will be part of a team of 3 that manufacture up to 1700 tonnes of Asphalt per month and aiming to increase production.

What you’ll bring to the role:

5+ years prior experience in Asphalt Plant operation, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
Strong understanding of materials, tools and methods used in asphalt production
Ability to work a roster of days and nights (Night shift as required)
Class 1 licence essential - WTR and Class 2 sought after but we can support you to gain these
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills required
Strong track record of commitment to health and safety
