Description

The Higgins team in Auckland is seeking a Plant Operator to join our Silverdale asphalt batch plant. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team responsible for manufacturing and supplying asphalt mix to both internal and external customers.

What you'll bring

2 + years experience operating asphalt batch plants, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
Strong understanding of materials, tools, and methods used in asphalt production
Flexibility to work day and night shifts on a rotating roster
Class 1 licence (WTR) or overseas essential
Class 2 preferred – we’ll support you to gain this
Familiarity with handling bitumen; D & F endorsements beneficial
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills
Proven commitment to health and safety
