Description

The Higgins Team in Silverdale is looking for a Plant Operator to join our asphalt batch plant crew.

What you’ll bring:

Experience operating asphalt batch plants, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
Strong understanding of materials, tools, and methods used in asphalt production
Flexibility to work day and night shifts on a rotating roster
Class 1 licence (WTR) essential; Class 2 preferred – we’ll support you to gain this
Familiarity with handling bitumen; D & F endorsements beneficial
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills
Proven commitment to health and safety
