Description

The Higgins Team in Silverdale is looking for a Plant Operator to join our asphalt batch plant crew.

What you’ll bring:
  • Experience operating asphalt batch plants, including troubleshooting and basic mechanical maintenance
  • Strong understanding of materials, tools, and methods used in asphalt production
  • Flexibility to work day and night shifts on a rotating roster
  • Class 1 licence (WTR) essential; Class 2 preferred – we’ll support you to gain this
  • Familiarity with handling bitumen; D & F endorsements beneficial
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proven commitment to health and safety
