Description

We’re looking for a hands-on leader to supervise and operate our busy asphalt production plant, using the latest technology to blend and mix aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletised fibre.
You’ll lead a team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality every step of the way.

What you’ll do:

Supervise and operate the asphalt plant, ensuring compliance and best practice. 
Lead, train, and develop your team. 
Maintain accurate documentation and drive a strong safety culture. 
Monitor plant emissions and environmental compliance. 
Oversee plant maintenance, stocktakes, and yard tidiness. 
Communicate openly with staff, management, clients, and suppliers.

What you’ll bring:

Experience in asphalt production and plant operations. 
Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools for asphalt production. 
Strong understanding of QA and H&S procedures. 
Appropriate licences (WTR, Class 1) and mechanical know-how. 
Leadership skills to train, coach, and motivate. 
Professional, courteous approach. 
First aid qualification and National Certificate in Pavement Surfacing (preferred).
