We have 4 branches. Head Office in Penrose, 3 Auckland branches and a Christchurch office. This role is based at our Auckland South Branch which is based on Cavendish Drive, Manukau and this branch focuses on developments from Beachlands to Karaka, so it’s an ideal role for anyone living out that way looking to reduce their commute.
This role is known internally as Associate Design & Specification Manager within the branch. It is office based, but we encourage all our team to get out to the developments as much as they can! You’ll be part of a team of 5, and reporting through to the Design & Planning Manager. On a day to day basis you’ll be responsible for supporting the pre-planning, design co-ordination, specification and colour selection of homes to be built in our subdivision in conjunction with the Design & Planning Manager and the Sales Manager.
We are looking for someone with a strong design background, where you have helped design residential homes, preferably in large development scenarios. Previous experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders group and being able to juggle maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships while still being able to challenge accepted practices. Innovative, new thinking and being able to bring new perspectives on design is very welcome! Understanding of construction methodologies (residential preferred) as is a qualification in the design space.
