About the Role

This Bid Manager role focuses on applying real construction experience to win work that can be delivered well. You’ll lead tenders and early contractor involvement for civil projects across the Central region, working closely with project and estimating teams.

The role suits an experienced Bid Manager or Project Manager who understands how jobs succeed or fail on site and wants to influence that outcome earlier. You’ll be trusted to lead bids end to end, using sound judgement, clear communication and practical thinking.

Projects range from $2m through to $40m and include complex drainage, structures and civil infrastructure.

Lead tender and ECI processes from opportunity to submission
Develop clear, buildable methodologies for complex civil works
Coordinate estimators, designers and bid contributors to meet deadlines
Identify and manage construction risk during the bid phase
Build strong client and consultant relationships early in the process
Support transition from awarded bids into delivery teams

What You’ll Bring

Civil engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification, or strong industry experience
Background as a Bid Manager, Project Manager, Senior PM or experienced construction leader
Proven delivery of civil projects across a range of values and complexity
Ability to work at pace and manage competing deadlines
Confidence presenting and discussing work with senior leaders and clients
A grounded, respectful approach to teamwork and decision‑making
