As a Branch Manager, here’s what a typical day might look like for you:
  • You’ll have safety at the heart of how you work, with a real focus on your team going home safe everyday
  • Creating and developing a fantastic culture in your Branch
  • You’ll get involved with your local community and customers, promoting the business to generate sales and new business
  • You’ll lead and motivate your team, giving them the support to do great work and progress their careers within the business.
  • You’ll drive the growth and profitability of the branch with your people, making sure it runs smoothly
  • You'll oversee inventory and operational management including the picking, packing and dispatch, ensuring your Branch has what it needs to meet customer requirements

Your retail management or other leadership experience will set you up for success at Tradelink. But what matters most is that you’ll really care about your work, the customers, and the people you work with.

You’ll also need:
  • An understanding of leading and meeting occupational health & safety requirements
  • Experience in managing budgets, profit and loss statements and stock management systems
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service to customers, generate customer loyalty and welcome new business
  • Experience in day-to-day operational management
  • To be a team player: hard-working, humble, and ready to support others
  • To be a great communicator: with your team, your customers and the Tradelink community
