We are looking for someone who is energetic, who is willing to give things a go and wanting to make a change for the better. Our focus is our people, and our new Branch Manager will need people leadership experience and the passion to motivate and inspire. 
Ideally, you will be someone who wants to get stuck in, make a difference and be able to hit the ground running. 


About the role:

Our Branch Manager opportunity is suitable for an individual who is a people leader, to support our retail branch based out of our Whangarei Branch. You will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operational management of our branch, leading a team of 15. 
This role will see you lead and direct all activities related to people, safety, customer outcomes, innovation, and growth to operations excellence. Coaching and developing the team to maximize sales, margins, and profitability all whilst fostering strong relationships with the team, the Branch network, and customers. 

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday and including Saturday shifts. Based in Whangarei


About You:
  • We’re looking for a natural leader, someone with management experience is crucial, we need someone to hit the ground running but will also ensure our people stay engaged and focused on our customers. Someone with a flair for investing in people and working with them to reach their potential. A strong believer in the importance of H&S within the workplace as this is an absolute priority for us. 
  • We will ideally be looking for someone who has some understanding and experience relating to the building sector, however, it will be your operational, sales and leadership experience that we will be most attracted to. 
  • Your ability to build long-term, sustainable relationships with customers and key account holders will be the utmost advantage to you in this role. As well as being an excellent communicator who can work with a diverse range of people.
