We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager focused on commercial projects, specification and market growth across NSW and ACT.MThis role combines a well established, market leading Waterloo portfolio with a high potential Walls & Ceilings category, offering both immediate commercial traction and long term growth opportunity. This is a field based, project led business development role working closely with specification, sales and installer networks, focusing on opportunity development, specification influence and project conversion, rather than account ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage commercial project pipelines end to end
  • Build relationships with architects, designers, builders and installers
  • Conduct joint calls with specification and sales teams
  • Provide technical and product support across projects
  • Track activity and opportunities through Salesforce CRM
  • Spend the majority of time customer facing (approx. 4 days per week)

About You
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in business development or sales within the construction or building products sector. The ideal person will be comfortable operating in project-driven, specification-led environments, and will possess strong communication and relationship-building abilities. A commercially minded, organised, and proactive approach is essential. While technical experience with walls, ceilings, or interior systems is highly regarded, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
