About the Role

This is a fresh and exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the Albury surrounding region. As our first Business Development Manager, based in Iplex Albury, you won’t just be selling products—you’ll be building relationships, spotting opportunities, and becoming a trusted face in the local community. We’re looking for someone who thrives on connection, understands the value of being present, and knows how to turn a conversation into a business opportunity. You’ll be working closely with our manufacturing site, tapping into local knowledge, and helping shape how we grow in this part of the country.

This role is perfect for someone who’s got energy to burn, loves the thrill of opening new doors, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, that means digging into customer buying patterns, pricing trends, and market movements to uncover opportunities others might miss. You’ll be expected to use tools like CRM’s (SalesForce) and Excel to track performance, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions that drive growth. As our new BDM you need to be strategic and confident—able to balance commercial outcomes with customer satisfaction, navigate complex deals, and secure long-term wins that benefit both sides.

Skills and Experience
  • Background in Business Development or Account Management
  • Confidence in selling technical products
  • Ideally have a connection to the Civil, Mining, Infrastructure or Plumbing. 
  • Natural sales enthusiast, loves a challenge and finding new opportunities 
  • Data-Savvy, confident with analysis of information and using SalesForce & Microsoft 360
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to grow customer connection (typically along with Murray River) 
  • Warm, energised & engaged personality, strong internal & external stakeholder engagement 
  • Market aware, Keep your finger on the pulse of local & industry trends
