About the Role

This role supports the delivery of civil construction work across a varied programme in Hawke’s Bay. You’ll work with your foreman and site team to build safe, high‑quality structures that stand the test of time. You’ll also keep learning as you go, developing your trade skills in a supportive environment.

Carry out timber, steel, and concrete construction tasks on active sites.
Build and install formwork using a range of systems.
Contribute to self perform concrete pours.
Follow daily plans, instructions, and safety procedures.
Use tools, plant, and equipment safely and correctly.
Support teammates, contribute to briefings, and help create a well‑run site.
Keep work areas tidy and maintain tools and equipment.

What You’ll Bring

Carpentry and concrete construction experience essential. Eg. Bridges, pump stations
Experience with concrete work, timber formwork, system formwork, reinforcing steel.
NZ Certificate in Concrete Construction or similar essential
Clean full Class 1 licence, WTR would be a bonus
Qualified and competent working at heights and using EWP’s
Comfortable working on busy sites and getting hands‑on with daily tasks.
Takes safety seriously and looks out for the crew.
Reliable attendance, communicates clearly, and works well with others.
Keen to keep learning new gear, systems, and ways of working to further develop your career.
