This isn't just a manufacturing/production role, you will be responsible for and understand the commercial aspects of the business, supply chain demands as well as full P&L for the site

Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

As the Production Manager, you will:

Lead manufacturing to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
Prioritize and promote a safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
Provide effective leadership to the manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
Lead commercial management through understanding of drivers and efficiancies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Ensure that all products meet or exceed quality standards and implement quality control processes to maintain consistency.
Efficiently manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and budgets, to achieve operational goals.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and sales, to align site manufacturing operations with company goals.
Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess and report on the performance of manufacturing operations.

Ngā Pūmanawatanga Ōu - What You Will Bring

Relevant tertiary qualifications in: Manufacturing, Engineering, Management, or related discipline.
Experience in managing manufacturing operations, and extensive experience running production or engineering functions, with product knowledge of concrete advantageous.
Commercial Savvy with P&L management
Minimum 5 years leading a best practice Operations / Manufacturing function.
Strong safety culture and able to establish a safety mindset in the business.
Understands Product Quality and engineering for optimal product standards
