Join a team that thrives on collaboration and bold thinking, delivering complex civil projects that shape communities and protect environments. Here, your ideas matter, your growth is supported, and your work leaves a lasting impact.

About the Role

This role supports our project and office teams by coordinating purchasing activity, ensuring accurate processing, and keeping our systems running smoothly. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the BPC Central Region offices in Hamilton, Tauranga and Napier, helping maintain consistent commercial practices that support day to day operations.

  • Manage day-to-day procurement and Accounts Payable activities through to invoice approval, including purchase order processing, receipting, invoice matching, AP queries, and maintenance of supplier records, GRNI, and open commitments.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate procurement records and timely monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate office consumables, branded materials, and general property administration tasks.
  • Support CAPEX documentation, as well as wider business support and facilities requirements.
  • Support the Quantity Surveyors with cost control and cost substantiation activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in procurement and accounts administration, or a related commercial support function.
  • Confidence using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; experience with JD Edwards or similar accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills with solid capability across the Microsoft Office suite.
  • An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A collaborative, well-organised working style with clear communication skills.
  • A full driver licence, with the ability to travel to Tauranga and Napier offices as required.
  • Accounting and/or business analytics experience or qualifications are an advantage.
