Shape the Future – Commercial Manager | Higgins Hawke’s Bay

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join the Higgins team in Hawke’s Bay, supporting both the local region. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative commercial team working closely with operational and functional teams to deliver smart, strategic outcomes across a diverse portfolio of projects.

What you’ll lead and influence:

  • Health & safety and commercial risk management
  • Precontract strategy, budget setting, and procurement
  • Revenue recovery, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Contract administration, change management, and dispute resolution

What you’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • 10+ years’ experience in the civil engineering/contracting sector
  • Strong knowledge of NZS contract forms and commercial frameworks
  • A clear, strategic mindset with the ability to align teams and solve problems
