About the Role

Join Brian Perry Civil as a Commercial Manager in Wellington in this newly created role. You’ll collaborate with project teams to oversee commercial delivery across major civil projects, manage costs, guide procurement, and ensure accurate reporting.

  • Oversee commercial performance across multiple projects.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow, and monthly reports.
  • Develop procurement strategies and manage subcontractor agreements.
  • Coordinate revenue recovery and variation valuations.
  • Contribute to risk analysis and cost reviews.
  • Support and coach team members to build capability and deliver high performance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial roles within civil construction.
  • Either proven experience as a Commercial Manager OR a Senior QS ready to step up
  • Expertise in procurement, cost control, and revenue entitlements.
  • Advanced Excel and IT skills; ability to learn Procore and JDE.
  • Skilled in financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Collaborative communicator with strong negotiation skills.
