About the Role

We are excited to be advertising for this newly created role in our commercial team. As the Commercial and Business Insights Manager, based at Strathpine Brisbane. You will lead a high-performing team in delivering crucial financial analysis and reporting that supports our company’s strategic objectives. In this role, you’ll not only oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial reports but also play a pivotal role in guiding manufacturing teams through cost & efficiencies improvements opportunities and strategic decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include providing cross-functional support to our manufacturing team, ensuring that all costings, BOM updates, and ledger management are handled with precision. You will be expected to manage complex manufacturing costing, lead the analysis of financial data, and provide actionable insights that drive efficiency and profitability. Your role will also involve championing automation initiatives and ensuring compliance with financial standards, making you a key player in our efforts to innovate and streamline operations.

We are looking for a leader who has extensive internal and external relationship building skills, Ideally we are looking for someone who is passionate about people & team and can build world class connections and drive engagement in your team.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in business or finance
CPA or CA certification preferred.
Experience in financial accounting within a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong Excel and data analytics skills.
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Qlik and PowerBI.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including costing, ledger management, and inventory control.
Confident in influencing stakeholders across functional groups
