About the role

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Communications Manager in the execution of all communication related activities with the FletcherTech business.  The role will be integral to facilitating the effective flow of information within and outside the company.

This is a part time role – 16 hours/week with an immediate start date but we do not require you to work the summer holidays (December or January).

This busy role will support the delivery of related communication activities and initiatives that build the brand and awareness of FletcherTech and drives employee engagement. You will assist in the drafting of all relevant marketing and communications material which includes video, digital and print communication materials, social media campaigns, web site content, press releases and articles.

You’ll be integral in the planning and preparation of PowerPoint presentations and logistics across various locations to ensure smooth running of internal events and conferences, as well as providing support with media engagements.

This is a multi-faceted role suitable for someone who thrives within a dynamic, fast paced environment.

About you

You’ll be a recent Comms graduate who is a curious and energetic self-starter, with strong written and verbal communication skills and proven experience with multimedia and social media communications.

You will have confidence to share ideas, collaborate and work closely with others

You’ll have a natural flair with people and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

You are tech savvy with a high level of proficiency with creating video content in Canva/Photoshop or similar.

You will have an astute eye for what reads well and has visual impact

You'll be a detail-oriented person who values accuracy and consistency in the message

You’ll take pride in delivering high quality work, whilst multi-tasking and prioritising across several projects at any given time

You’ll love the thrill of a high-energy environment and enjoy collaborating and adding your creative ideas to the mix

Your proven ability to adapt to competing priorities and maintain good judgement in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must as we change and evolve as a team and as a business

You’ll be open to new ideas and provide motivated support where it’s needed
