Description

Due to internal promotion, we have an opportunity available for an experienced Construction Manager to join our Green Team in the beautiful Hawkes Bay. 

Reporting to our Region Manager, you will be based at our Napier branch office and be a strategic part of our senior leadership team.  You will be overseeing our civil construction division focusing on civil construction, transportation and three waters projects This is a senior role with massive potential for growth.  By leading relationships with our clients, you will have the opportunity to shape our growing footprint within the region. 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven track record in coaching and mentoring teams, communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high performing team, set direction and cast vision
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and subcontractors 
  • Understanding of the technical, contractual and financial requirements involved in construction and maintenance contracts
  • Experience in tendering and commercial as well as budgeting, management of P&L and cost control
  • Extensive proven experience in a similar type of role 
  • Civil Engineering Degree desirable
