Our team of Construction Supervisors tasked with delivering finished homes will have a quality check sheet to finalise at the end of the build process. This will be handed to you to ensure that all potential issues have been noted and addressed in order to meet both our standards and the new Govt. standards. Once you sign off as ready for sale, the houses will then fall into your domain. Any items which occur between handover and being sold will be taken care of by you. Once sold, you will be the person who will ensure they are fixed in a timely manner and to the home owner’s satisfaction. This part of the role will require someone who has great customer service skills as this is a key part of the job. On average you will be doing at least one inspection a day. The remainder of your time will be taken up with paperwork for quality control processes, as well as working through the maintenance registers and co-ordinating trades people to undertake work in timeframes which suit home owners.
This role will suit someone with an exceptional eye for detail when it comes to quality finishes. You will however need to be pragmatic because although you will be the person completing inspections we want the delivery team to see you as someone they enjoy working with, not the person there to make their lives more difficult. We see this role suiting someone with a proven track record in the construction sector. You will need experience in engaging and supervising subcontractors. And you will work very closely with the home owners to organise for work to be completed. Given the reputation of the Fletcher Living brand, you will need to be someone who offers a strong commitment to ensuring we deliver a high spec product to the market each and every time. And most importantly, you will be someone with a passion for customer service as this is a critical part of this role!
