Are you ready to lead our continuous improvement initiatives and drive excellence across our national supply chain team?

We’re searching for an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team at Laminex. This is your opportunity to make a real difference by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and process redesign in a forward-thinking environment.

What you'll be responsible for:

In this role, you’ll analyse and identify opportunities for improvement using benchmarking, gap analysis, and best practices. You’ll support and empower the national distribution network by providing training and guidance for Supply Chain Excellence (SCE) implementation. Standardising ways of working and ensuring stakeholder adoption will be key to your success.

You’ll develop and execute a continuous improvement strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring minimal operational disruption and maximum employee engagement. Monthly reviews with high-focus sites using the SCE KPI review framework will be part of your routine. Additionally, you’ll liaise with various functions to prepare reports, monitor operations, and assess financial performance.

Building strong working relationships with functional and divisional managers, monitoring trends, and providing information to improve decision-making will be essential. You’ll foster a culture of people development, leadership, and continuous improvement, conducting annual site assessments for each business unit and maintaining the SCE website aligned with FB Matrix.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven capacity to engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading change through contemporary continuous improvement/Lean supply chain methodologies.
  • Strong influencing skills and capacity to manage ambiguity.
  • Ability to create, deliver, plan, and implement objectives to meet strategic outcomes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

Relevant Experience:

  • A relevant business degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain and/or continuous improvement.
  • Successful leadership of operational excellence initiatives.
  • Multi-site experience in supply chain operations and processes.
  • Track record of delivering projects within time and budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Team leadership and coaching experience.
