Description

Higgins Waikato has secured a new long term Integrated Delivery Contract with NZTA across the region, and we are looking for a Contract Administrator to join the team based at our Morrinsville depot.

This role sits at the centre of the team, keeping systems, records and day to day administration running accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with operational, finance, training and safety teams, and regularly liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing detail, juggling priorities and supporting a busy operational environment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Provide contract administration support across job logging, dispatch and incident response activities
  • Manage timesheets, purchase orders, invoices and financial data entry within agreed timeframes
  • Act as a key contact for internal teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems and contract documentation
  • Coordinate training, inductions, PPE and workforce records alongside EHS and training teams
  • Support office operations, reception, communications and general administration as required

What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administration role, including finance or accounts support
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in administration, business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and calm approach
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, even in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and internal business systems
  • Well-developed organisation skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks

What’s on offer:
  • Competitive salary package, with relocation support available
  • KiwiSaver employer contribution matched up to 4%
  • In-house technical training and leadership development programmes
  • Career opportunities across Higgins and Fletcher Construction
  • Educational support for you and your children
  • School holiday programmes and tutoring support
  • Discounts with partners including Southern Cross, ANZ, Z Energy, PlaceMakers, Mico, and Samsung
