About The Role
The Credit Analyst acts as an interface between the Credit Management & Debt Recovery team & Payroll Operations to manage the financial administration of these functions. Your role will be responsible for the payroll payments and associated reconciliations as well as purchase orders, reconciliations, and recharges for the credit management operations.
You will also assist with a range of Credit Management activities including credit risk assessment of new customers, projects & reporting to support the business units.

About You
We are looking for a talented finance professional who demonstrates strong experience in support operations, specifically payroll, credit management and debt recovery related activities. You will have some working knowledge and experience of New Zealand credit management, and debt recovery policies as well as an understanding of payroll tax legislation. 
Additionally, you will provide other payroll finance related tasks as required to support the payroll finance function. You will have sound understanding of New Zealand legislative framework in which credit management and debt recovery functions operate.

The successful candidate will have the following: 
  • Finance or accounting related qualification and experience.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to recognise and implement improvement initiatives.
  • High level of analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining stakeholder and client relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a complex work environment.
  • High level written & oral communications skills.
