Description

The role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager this role will involve servicing our trade customers on the Trade Counter, Inwards Goods, Cycle Counting, Stocking and Rotating products on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading / Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch. The role will also support the Branch Manager with partnering with our commercial customer as an Internal Key Account Manager.

  • Providing friendly, professional service to our customers, including tradespeople, commercial businesses and homeowners
  • Answer calls and emails and quoting orders
  • Communicating delivery times and preparing order ready for delivery
  • Supporting with inwards goods, stock put-away and cycle counts
  • Accurately checking and receipting products into branch systems
  • Preparing, loading and securely restraining products for delivery
  • Delivering our products directly to the customer
  • Maintaining a safe, organised, and customer-ready environment

This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week. Working Monday to Friday 7:30am-4pm.  

About you: 
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to be build rapport and form strong relationships
  • You will be an excellent communicator who is organised and adaptable
  • Trade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, however not essential, as it would be your positive attitude and willingness to learn that we would be looking for
  • A motivated, self-driven person, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a team
  • Be confident with computers and learning new systems
  • Good sense of humour and a team player
  • A Full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential for this role
