Description

This isn’t your average retail role. As a Customer Service Representative at Mico Cook Street (Auckland CBD) you’ll be the first point of contact, and the trusted expert our valued customers rely on. From the moment they walk through the door, you’ll deliver tailored product advice, share your knowledge, and create a customer experience that keeps them coming back. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this role offers variety and hands-on involvement across all areas of the branch.

  • Recommend products that suit the needs and preferences of every customer
  • Manage Inwards Goods, including accurate receipting and system entry
  • Process sales and returns at the trade counter
  • Merchandising and maintaining stock levels
  • Assist with in-store promotions and display setup
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping

Permanent full-time role based at Mico Cook Street (Auckland CBD) branch, offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.

About You: 
To succeed in this role, you’ll be a natural communicator and relationship builder who puts customers at the heart of everything you do. You’ll be friendly, reliable, enjoy working with others, and ready to jump in wherever needed. 

  • Bring a strong work ethic, approachable down-to-earth attitude and committed to delivering great service to everyone you meet
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using technology and navigating multiple system
  • Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting (25kgs) and manual handling tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing or trade retail role is ideal but not essential
  • Knowledge of plumbing, building products or the construction industry is a plus
