Description

Stramit is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of steel building products, proudly supporting builders, tradies and distributors across the country. We’re looking for customer‑centric, confident communicators to join our Customer Service Centre in Erskine Park.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, working with detail and supporting complex commercial projects - delivering a positive service experience both over the phone and through proactive project coordination.

Our Customer Service team works closely with multiple internal departments and truly acts as the engine room of the business, keeping communication flowing and ensuring our customers receive a seamless, end-to-end experience. This is not a sales role, but a service-driven position supporting long-term customer relationships and technically detailed orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to our trade and business customers via phone and email
  • Support technically detailed, measurement-sensitive orders across roll-formed steel products including purlins, bridging, brackets, accessories and fixings
  • Accurately process multi-line orders where precision is critical to manufacturing and site outcomes
  • Read and interpret drawings, mark-ups, purlin schedules, cut lists and measurements
  • Support large, multi-stage commercial projects, coordinating order sequencing and delivery timing
  • Proactively communicate with customers around lead times, manufacturing constraints and technical project outcomes
  • Liaise daily with internal departments such as operations, scheduling, logistics, and sales to resolve enquiries and issues
  • Maintain accurate records and customer information
  • Contribute positively to a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Customer-centric with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A confident and professional communicator
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Resilient and calm when handling challenges or competing priorities
  • Proactive and solution-focused

What you’ll bring
  • Strong communication skills - clear, professional and confident
  • High accuracy when handling technical orders
  • Experience coordinating workflows, schedules or projects
  • Strong systems capability - experience with ERP systems (Movex or similar), CRM platforms and Excel is advantageous
  • Own transport required due to limited public transport in the area
  • Experience with Cisco, Citrix or Salesforce is advantageous but not essential - we’ll train you.

What We Offer
  • Stable, full-time role with a trusted Australian brand
  • Supportive team culture and structured onboarding
  • Genuine career development and progression opportunities
  • Free on-site parking
  • Market leading parental leave program + great staff discounts and employee benefits.

If you love helping people, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a strong, customer-focused team, we’d love to hear from you.
