Description

Stramit is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of steel building products, proudly supporting builders, tradies and distributors across the country. We’re looking for customer‑centric, confident communicators to join our Customer Service Centre in Knoxfield.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers and takes pride in delivering a positive service experience — both over the phone and face-to-face.

Our Customer Service team works closely with multiple internal departments and truly acts as the engine room of the business, keeping communication flowing and ensuring our customers receive a seamless, end-to-end experience. This is not a sales role, but a service-driven position supporting long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to our trade and business customers via phone and email
  • Liaise daily with internal departments such as operations, scheduling, logistics, and sales to resolve enquiries and issues
  • Coordinate information across teams to ensure smooth customer outcomes
  • Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and follow-through
  • Maintain accurate records and customer information
  • Contribute positively to a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Customer-centric with a positive, can-do attitude
  • A confident and professional communicator
  • Resilient and calm when handling challenges or competing priorities
  • Proactive, organised, and solution-focused
  • Comfortable working in a rotating shift environment

What you’ll bring
  • Strong communication skills — clear, professional and confident
  • A genuinely customer‑first mindset
  • A positive attitude and the resilience to handle fast-paced days
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (7:30am–3:30pm or 9:30am–5:30pm)
  • Own transport required due to limited public transport in the area
  • Experience with Cisco, Citrix or Salesforce is advantageous but not essential — we’ll train you.

What We Offer
  • Stable, full-time role with a trusted Australian brand
  • Supportive team culture and structured onboarding
  • Genuine career development and progression opportunities
  • Free on-site parking
  • Market leading parental leave program + great staff discounts and employee benefits.

If you love helping people, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a strong, customer-focused team, we’d love to hear from you.
