Customer Service Team Leader

Pacific Coil Coaters, part of Fletcher Building, is a leading provider of pre-painted steel products across New Zealand. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional service to our customers. We're now looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Service Team Leader to lead our dynamic team and drive service excellence.

About the Role

As the Customer Service Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading a small but high-performing team, ensuring our customers receive outstanding support and service. You’ll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and developing your team, while also managing day-to-day operations and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Customer Service team to deliver exceptional service
  • Monitor team performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Handle escalated customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus
  • Report on service metrics and contribute to strategic planning


About You

  • Proven experience in a customer service leadership role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
