Customer Service Team Leader
Pacific Coil Coaters, part of Fletcher Building, is a leading provider of pre-painted steel products across New Zealand. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions and exceptional service to our customers. We're now looking for a passionate and experienced Customer Service Team Leader to lead our dynamic team and drive service excellence.
About the Role
As the Customer Service Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading a small but high-performing team, ensuring our customers receive outstanding support and service. You’ll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and developing your team, while also managing day-to-day operations and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Customer Service team to deliver exceptional service
- Monitor team performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Handle escalated customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus
- Report on service metrics and contribute to strategic planning
About You
- Proven experience in a customer service leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
