Description

The Role
As a Customer Service Team Member at our PlaceMakers Auckland Frame & Truss Manufacturing Plant, this fixed-term role (through to December 2026) plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. You'll provide administrative and customer service support, coordinate with internal teams, and help ensure the smooth flow of work from order processing through to production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and coordinate customer job bookings and order administration.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers by handling reception duties and inbound phone enquiries.
  • Monitor and respond to production-related emails, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Provide administrative support across scheduling, invoicing, and production coordination activities.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure efficient operational processes.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives within the branch.

This is a Full-Time Fixed Term Role, offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday no weekends. End date December 2026
