About the role

In this role, you’ll lead engagement with commercial stakeholders across zones of the Eastern Busway Project. You’ll build strong relationships with businesses and organisations impacted by construction, ensuring they are well-informed, supported and heard throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with internal teams you’ll deliver consistent messaging, timely communication, and meaningful consultation that supports both the project’s success and the community’s experience.

Lead proactive engagement with commercial stakeholders to build trust and collaboration
Coordinate with construction and residential engagement teams to ensure consistent and clear communication
Advocate for stakeholder needs and help mitigate construction impacts
Manage feedback channels and ensure timely responses to enquiries and concerns
Support the delivery of customer experience initiatives and legacy outcomes

What you’ll bring to the role

We’re looking for a confident communicator and relationship builder who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments. You’ll bring:

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, ideally within large infrastructure projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for customer experience
Ability to manage complex information and resolve conflicts effectively
Familiarity with engagement systems like Simply Stakeholder
A commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and alliance values

About Eastern Busway Alliance (EBA)

EBA includes Auckland Transport, Fletcher Construction, ACCIONA, AECOM, and Jacobs. We’re working on a major project for Auckland, adding dedicated lanes for high-frequency bus services that link Botany, Pakuranga, and nearby suburbs with the Panmure rail network. The project features cycling and walking paths, safety upgrades, environmental enhancements, roading improvements, and a Reeves Road flyover, offering more travel options and more reliable journey times.
